The Savoy, London

Scope of Works:

Edgewater completed the first phase of The Savoy’s £45 million guestrooms and suites refurbishment.  The project combined sensitive restoration of the Grade II listed landmark with world-class modern finishes, including a new signature river balcony suite and bespoke joinery handcrafted at our purpose-built 40,000 sq ft Toomebridge HQ.  118 guestrooms and suites were completed as part of the refurbishment.

Project in numbers:

• 50 original chandeliers preserved during refurbishment
• 10,000 square metres of carpet laid (enough to cover Covent Garden Piazza!)
• 500 pictures hung on the walls
• 120 square metres of marble polished in the new bathrooms
• 1,000 pillows plumped

Phase two of the Savoy’s transformation is already in planning for 2026, and we look forward to building on this partnership with London’s original luxury hotel.
