Production Manager

(Ref:PM/04/16)

The Production Manager is responsible for implementing the production plan and organising the day to day running of the Manufacturing Workshop, ensuring systems and procedures are followed to achieve the required quality and efficiencies.

The role will cover a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Liaise with design department regarding working drawings, layouts and stock item pick lists for the manufacturing process
  • Site surveying and measuring of joinery items
  • Planning and organising production schedules to ensure deadlines are met in a safe and functioning working environment
  • Regularly reviewing workshop performance (generating reports and analysis as required)
  • Liaising with other functions and teams to agree timescales and ensure the required labour and resources are in place
  • Management of the Manufacturing Workshop team to achieve production efficiencies without affecting quality
  • Develop the performance and wellbeing of the Manufacturing Workshop team in line with Company values and practice

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive Production/Manufacturing management experience within a similar manufacturing workshop environment
  • Preparation of programmes for manufacturing and continually review progress in terms of quality and cost
  • Operating integrated management system and liaising with company HSEQ department
  • Full knowledge of CAD/CNC operating

  • IT and Numerical Skills
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • AutoDesk Autocad
  • Experience of estimating

Quantity Surveyor

(Ref: QS04/16)

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the management of all financial and contractual obligations on projects, while still achieving the required standards and quality of statutory regulations

The role involves an element of travelling to the UK/ROI, typically 1 -2 days a week

The role will cover a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including BOQ with the consultant/client/subcontractor
  • Preparing project budgets/cost reports and cash flows
  • Procurement of subcontractors and preparation of subcontractor orders
  • Assessing and certification of subcontractor interim valuations and Final Accounts
  • Site measurements
  • Preparation of interim valuations to client
  • Manage and value variations
  • Preparation, submission and agreement of Final Accounts

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or post-graduate qualification
  • Substantial experience within a similar environment
  • IT skills e.g. proficient with Microsoft software
  • Industry Knowledge and Understanding

The Successful Candidate will possess/be:

  • Highly motivated and organised
  • Able to work in a fast moving environment
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Strong Communication and negotiation skills
  • Budget and Financial Management
  • Able to work on initiative with minimum supervision

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Good knowledge of construction contracts to include all JCT
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
  • Good Commercial Awareness

Workshop Joiner

(Ref: WJ04/16)

The Workshop Joiner is responsible for manufacturing of bespoke interiors and joinery products

 

The role will cover a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:        

  • Accurately work from detailed drawings        
  • Manufacture bespoke interior joinery products       
  • Ability to work on own and ensure deadlines are met in a safe and functioning working environment        
  • Work at all times to a high level of accuracy, providing consistent quality finishes       
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation

Essential Skills and Experience:    

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar manufacturing workshop environment

The Successful Candidate will possess/be:       

  • Highly motivated and organised        
  • Able to work in a fast moving environment        
  • The ability to work well within a team       
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills

Desired Skills and Expertise:

  • Experience in solid surface materials        
  • Experience of CNC Programming        
  • Ability to assist with joinery fitting when required
